A plural noun is a noun that refers to more then one of something. Most singular nouns can be turned in to a plural noun by just adding ‘s’ to the ned or if it already ends in ‘s’ then adding an ‘es’ or ‘yes’ instead

A

A concrete noun is a word that can be experienced through at least one of the five senses. So if you can see, hear, smell, touch or taste something it is a concrete noun.
e.g- rock, table, flour, flower, trumpet

Describe the difference between an abstract noun and a verb-

A

Most abstract nouns and verbs over cross in the word classes like the word love but the way they are used would be slightly different-

-love as a verb would show an action of love- I love my piano. (shows the action of expressing love)
-love as a abstract noun- Send him my love. (The word now is a noun it is a thing)

A collective noun is a noun that refers to a group of things that function as one unit or perform the same action collectively.
e.g- army, crown, team, flock
