What is the definition of a Infinitive Clause?

A
  • infinitve with a subject ( + MOD + COMP)
  • entire clause functions as the DO of a verb
  • the subject of an infinitive clause is in the objective case and the infinitive takes the place of the main verb

NOTE HOW THIS IS DIFFERENT THAN AN INFINITIVE PHRASE
