Emergency of RIBETS
Above 80KT I will only reject the takeoff for:
- Fire or Fire warning,
- Engine failure,
- PWS warning,
- Airplane unsafe of unable to fly.
Before V1, if I call STOP I will:
- Simultaneously close the thrust levers and disengage the autothrottle,
- Apply maximum manual braking or verify operation of RTO autobrakes,
- Manually raise the speedbrake lever
- Apply maximum reverse thrust and stop the aircraft. I will set the parking brake.
We will identify the failure and carry out any drills as appropriate.
If we decide to evacuate the aircraft, we will read and do the Evacuation checklist. If time permits, I will pull the CVR C/B.
If the call before V1 is “KEEP GOING”, there will be no actions below 400FT AGL except to cancel any warnings and raise the landing gear with a positive rate of climb:
- Above 400FT AGL, verify HDG SEL and complete the memory items,
- At MFRA, bug up and retract the flaps on schedule,
- At flaps up, no lights, select LVL CHG, confirm MCT, engage the A/P and climb to the MSA

Starter Duty Cycle

Radio Communication Frequency Change During Flight
- During Climb and Descent, PM enters and readbacks frequency,
- During Cruise:
1-) PF enters frequency to Standby window,
2-) PM will respond to ATC,
3-) PM enters the new frequency and UTC time to the OFP,
4-) PM crosschecks and contacts new ATC
Radio Communication Frequency Change (CPDLC)
RARA:
- READ: PM reads the ATC message,
- AGREE: PF crosschecks and tune in the new frequency,
- RESPOND: PM selects WILCO, awaits & call “CLOSED”,
- ACTION: PM change the new frequency and contact (PM records new frequency on the OFP)
Completing eFPL/OFP During Cruise
- Fuel and time check for first convenient waypoint,
- Thereafter checks will be done in maximum 60 minutes intervals (also check altimeters for RVSM),
- Compare Arrival time with FMC PROGRESS and advise the PF,
- Note FIR boundaries and enter next boundary in the FIX page
Fuel Crossfeeding Procedure
- Verify that Fuel Leak does not exists,
- During Climb or Descent, do it only if IMBAL is displayed,
- Crossfeed Valve ON (check the light goes bright then dim),
- “LOW SIDE PUMPS OFF”,
- Put the checklist between Thrust Levers,
- Finish the procedure when the imbalance reduces to 20KG,
- Ensure LOW PRESSURE lights are extinguished before closing Crossfeed Valve

Gear Down Flaps 15 Point
- IMC: 5NM (also for V/S approach),
- VMC: 4NM or latest 3.5NM
Circling Fix Page Values
- Instrument approach RWY: 4NM,

Taxi-In Procedure Start
- When clear of active runway,
- Taxi instructions received,
- Written in FMC and understood by both pilots,
- Then CPT will stow the Speedbrake lever to start the procedure
Parking Brake Release After Shutdown Caution
Release ONLY after:
- Confirm dual wheel chocks are in place,
- Brake wear indicators are checked,
- Wind speed < 40KT
