Q

How do you process information?

A

It begins At the periphery →goes through visual pathway→ light hits retina→ info goes to optic nerve→ optic chasm→optic tracks → to the brain in the visual cortex

Q

What Ave the elements you have to consider before the vision is processed in the visual Cortex?

Q

How are we going to achieve BSV?

A
  • info to the 2 eyes must be the same in clarity ,brightness and size to join this into one image.
-you need to have a clear cornea, clear retina and clear lens- these 3 ave known as Ocular media

16
Q

What is central fusion?

A

If we are stimulating the very small fovea area.

17
Q

What is peripheral fusion?

A

If we are stimulating an area larger than 3 degrees

18
Q

Retinal correspondence?

A

When light from a stimulus falls on corresponding retinal areas it is perceived one stimulus

19
Q

What does binocular single vision mean

A

The simultaneous use of both eyes so that each eye contribute to a common single perception
