Approach to stall or stall recovery

A
- INITIATE RECOVERY:
Disconnect autopilot and auto throttle. 
Smoothly apply nose down*trim my be needed. 
-CONTINUE RECOVERY
Rool wings level. 
Advance thrust levers as needed. 
Retract speedbrakes. 
Do not change gear or flap configuration. 
** except during lift off if flap up call flaps 1. 
- COMPLETE RECOVERY 
Check airspeed adjust thrust as needed. 
Establish pitch attitude 
Return to desired flight path
Re-engage A/P and A/T

Rejected take off

A
  • Simultaneously close trust levers, disengage A/T and apply maximum manual break or verify RTO operation.
  • Raise speed breaks lever.
  • Apply maximum reverse thrust.
  • continue maximum breaking until certain the airplane will stop on the runway.
  • Field permitting- revers idle detent by taxi speed.

GPWS Warning

A
  • Disconnect A/P
  • Disconnect A/T
  • Aggressively apply max thrust
  • Simultaneously roll wings level and rotate to initial pitch attitude of 20.
  • Retract speedbreaks
  • If needed continue rotation to the PLI
  • Do not change gear or flaps configuration
  • Monitor RA
  • Clear of terrain slowly decrease pitch

Traffic avoidance

A

Disengage A/P and A/T, smoothly adjust pitch and thrust to satisfy the RA command.
Attempt to stab Lish visual contact, call out any conflicting traffic.

FOR RA IN LANDING CONFIGURATION:
-Disengage A/P and A/T, advanced thrust levers to maximum thrust and call FLAPS 15, smoothly adjust pitch to satisfy the RA command.
Positive rate of climb call GEAR UP
** a descend RA below 1000ft AGL should not be followed**

A
  • Disconnect A/P and A/T
  • Nose down elevator
  • Nose down trim
  • Reduce thrust
  • Adjust roll to obtain nose down pitch rate
  • When approaching the horizon wings level
  • Check airspeed adjust thrust
  • Establish pitch attitude

A

-Disconnect A/P and A/T
-Recover from stall if required
-Wings level in the shortest direction
-Recover to level flight:
Nose up elevator
Nose up trim
Adjust thrust and drag as required

  • Disconnect A/P
  • Press either TO/GA switch
  • Aggressively apply maximum thrust
  • Disconnect A/T
  • Simultaneously wings level and rotate 15
  • Retract speedbreaks
  • Follow FD TO/GA guidance
AUTOMATIC  
• Press either TO/GA switch.
• Verify TO/GA mode annunciation.
• Verify GA thrust.
• Retract speedbrakes.
• Monitor system performance

MANUAL OR AUTOMATIC FLIGHT
• Do not change flap or gear configuration.
• Monitor vertical speed and altitude.
• Do not attempt to regain lost airspeed.
