Why would you use a red free filter
Enhance blood vessels/hemorrhages, retinal lesions, NFL defects, choroidal lesions.
can differentiate between choroid vs retina.
if you see a nevus and put on red free filter and now don’t see it, means it is in the choroid. If you still see it, means it is in the retina.
When to use yellow/ND filter
