Flushing, headache and postural hypotension

Sublingual tablet
Aerosol spray
Transdermal patches (longer DOA) *increased risk of tolerance - leave patch off for 8-12 hours

MR prep dinitrate (up to 12 hours)
A
TWICE DAILY
- give after 8 hours instead of 12 hours to reduce tolerance

Isorsobide mononitrate MR prep

ONCE DAILY

Sublingual GTN tablets

(300, 500 and 600mcg)
Glass container
Foil line cap, no cotton wadding
Discard after 8 weeks
