Ans: 1. Hard Power : Capacity to coerce an entity to behave specifically using military capabilities and economic might.
2. Soft Power : Country’s ability to influence others without coercive pressure .
3. Smart Power : To combine elements of both hard and soft Power in a way that they can effectively and efficiently contribute to achieving the country’s goals.
* It involves strategic use of diplomacy, persuasion, capacity building, and the projection of power and influence in cost-effective ways with socio-political legitimacy.
