US government policies of providing welfare benefits for groups such as the unemployed created a dependency culture.
What did Murray state about the so-called ‘underclass’?
Drain on taxpayers money, but also, tended to poorly socialise their children, meaning they generally underachieved in school and turned to crime.
How can Murray’s theory be de-bunked?
