Neurovascular Structures of the Anterior Forearm Flashcards
The Median Nerve is in what position to the brachial artery
Medial
Which muscles does the median nerve not supply in the forearm
Flexor Carpi Ulnaris (Ulnar nerve) and flexor digitorum profundus (medial section by the ulnar nerve)
Where is the median nerve in relation to the flexor retinaculum
Above
Ulnar Nerve in the forearm
After passing posterior to the medial epicondyle of the humerus the ulnar nerve enters the forearm by passing between the heads of flexor carpi ulnaris. Both the ulnar nerve and the ulnar artery descend close together. The ulnar nerve is medial to the ulnar artery.
Two terminal branches of the brachial artery
The radial and the ulnar artery. Occurs at the neck of the radius.
Which artery supplies the anterior forearm
Ulnar Artery
