Teporal - one pre synapse and one post synapse. Repeated stimulation occurs until the presynapse adds enough neurotransmitter to exceed the threshold (-55mv).
Spatial - multiple pre synapses and one post synapse. the pre synapses send neurotransmitters together to exceed the threshold.
