Describe the catagories of the STRENGTH portion of the neuro:

A

0 PARALYSIS: no movement
1 PROFOUND: flicker or trace of muscle of contraction.
2- SEVERE WEAKNESS: able to contract muscle but cannot move joint against gravity.
3- MODERATE: able to overcome force of gravity but not the resistance of examiner.
4- MILD: able to resist slight force of example
5- NORMAL: equal strength bilateral.
