aphasia (2)
-could be both
- speech problems
1) sensory (receptive) - inability to understand written or verbal speech
2) motor (expressive) - inability to write or speak appropriately (can’t express themselves)

1) memory
- short term/recent
- long term/ remote
2) knowledge
3) abstract thinking
- interprets colloquialisms
4) association
- identifies related concepts
5) judgement
- logical decision making
