Unspecified Intellectual Disability
- OVER 5 yrs
- used when assessment of disability is not feasible due to sensory or physical impairment
Language Disorder
A. Difficulties in acquisition and use of language across modalities (e.g. spoken, written, etc.)
B. Abilities below age level

Speech Sound Disorder
A. Difficulty with sound production that prevents verbal communication
B. Onset in early development
Childhood Onset Fluency Disorder
A. Disturbances in normal fluency and timing of speech
B. Disturbance causes anxiety or difficulties in functioning
C. Onset in early development
Social (Pragmatic) Communication Disorder
A. Difficulties in verbal and non-verbal communication
—Deficit in using communication for social purposes
—Inability to change communication to match context
—Difficulty following rules for conversation

Autism Spectrum Disorder
A. Deficits in social functioning —Reciprocity —Nonverbal communication —Developing and maintaining relationships B. Restricted, repetitive behaviors or interests —Motor movements —Insistence on sameness —Fixed interests —Hyper or hypoactivity to sensory input C. Onset in early development
ADHD

Specific Learning Disorder

Developmental Coordination Disorder
A. Acquisition and execution of motor skills is far below chronological age

A. Repetitive motor behavior
B. Onset in early development
C. Specify if with or without self-injury
Tourette’s Disorder
A. Multiple motor and one or more vocal tics have been present, but not necessarily concurrently
B. Frequency may wax and wane, but present for more than a year since first tic
C. Onset before 18 years
Persistent Motor or Vocal Tic Disorder
A. Motor OR vocal tics present, but not both
B. Present more than 1 year
C. Onset before 18 years
Provisional Tick Disorder
A. Motor and/or vocal tics
B. Present less than 1 year
C. Onset before 18 years
D. Criterion not previously met for Tourette’s or Persistent Motor or Vocal Tic Disorder
