What is stereognosis?
Tests the patient’s ability to identify a familiar object by touch
What is graphesthesia?
With the blunt end of a reflex hammer or applicator, draw a number or shape on the palm of the patient’s hand. Patient should be able to identify the shape or number drawn in hand
