What does Networking Devices Hardware mean?
Networking devices hardware refers to the physical components that enable communication and data transfer in computers.
What is a router?
A router is a networking device that forwards data packets, making decisions based on the destination IP Address.
What is a data packet?
A data packet is a packet/fragments of data sent into the network for transmission
What is a switch?
A switch is a networking device which connects devices within a local area network (LAN), enabling efficient data transmission by forwarding data only to the intended recipient.
What is a hub?
A hub is a simple networking device used to connect multiple devices in a network but unlike switches, they broadcast data to all connected devices, not only the recipient.
What is a modem?
A modem (full form – modulator/demodulator) is networking device, which converts digital signals from a computer into analog signals for transmission over telephone or cable lines, and vice versa for receiving data. At the senders end it is digital to analog and from the receivers end it is analog to digital.
