Q

What is Wi-Fi? Name some advantages and disadvantages.

A

Wi-Fi enables computers and other devices to communicate wirelessly with each other. Areas with the internet can be accessed wirelessly using Wi-Fi are called access points and they can be found in many public places, such as coffee, bars, hotels, airport, et cetera.

Advantages –
1. You are not confined to working in the same space and you can work anywhere as long as long as there is a signal
2. There is no need for any wires for connection as it is virus, making it easier to keep the working area clean and reducing cost.

Disadvantages -
1. The danger of hackers reading messages.
2. There are areas where you cannot get a wireless network.
