Network topologies Flashcards

1
Q

Bus topology definition

A

Q

Advantages and disadvantages of Bus topology

A

+ Cost effective

  • Network is dependent on the bus cable
  • Larger the traffic the less efficient the network is

Q

Advantages and disadvantages of Ring topology

A

+ No data collision
+ Computers can be added easily

  • If a computer breaks down the network is disrupted
  • If the cable breaks the network is disrupted
