No, they have no auto features.
Must be manually opened after pump start.
If the NESW pump switch is in auto, how must the discharge valve be arranged?
It must be open.
It will NOT auto open when the pump starts.
How soon after a Load Conservation can a NESW pump be restarted and how is it done?
After 75 secs by taking the pump switch to trip/lockout and back to run
