ULTT I (Median Nerve Bias)
For: Anterior interosseus nerve (C5, C6, C7) Shoulder: depression, 110 abduction Forearm: supination Wrist- extended Fingers/thumb- exteded Elbow- extension Neck- contralateral lateral flexion
ULTT 2 (median nerve bias)
For: musculocutaneous Nerve, axillary nerve
Shoulder: depression, 10 deg abduction (ER)
Forearm- supination
Wrist- extension
Fingers, thumb- extension
Elbow- extension
Neck- contralateral flexion
ULTT 3 (Radial nerve bias)
For- Radial nerve Shoulder- depression, 10 deg abduction (IR) Elbow- extension Forearm- pronation wrist- flexion, ulnar deviation Fingers, thumb- flexion Neck-contralateral flexion
ULTT 4 (Ulnar Nerve)
For- ulnar nerve Shoulder- depression and abduction 10-90 degrees (ER) Forearm- supination Wrist- extension and radial deviation Fingers, thumb- extension Elbow- flexion Neck- contralateral lateral flexion
Slump Test 1
For- spinal cord, nerve roots, sciatic nerve
Position- sitting, hand behind back
Motions- throacic and lumbar flexion, cervical flexion, DF, knee extension
SLR (Lasegue’s test)
For- sciatic and tibial nerve
Position: supine (pt relaxed), hip IR/adducted/knee extended
Motion- hip flexion, can DF and/or neck flexion
Prone knee bending (Nachlas Test)
For- femoral nerve, L2-L4 nerve root
Position- prone, hip neutral, neck rotated to test side
motion- knee flexion
