Causes of SIADH

A

Central nervous system

  • Head injury
  • Cerebral neoplasm

Respiratory system

  • Small cell lung carcinoma (SCLC)
  • Pneumonia (Legionnaire’s is the college favourite)

Drugs

  • NSAIDs,
  • Tricyclic antidepressants,
  • SSRI,
  • Haloperidol.
