GBM
Grades of neoplasm 1-4
Grade I: includes lesions with a low potential for spreading, are frequently discrete,
and there is a possibility of cure following surgical resection alone.
Grade II: includes lesions that are general infiltrative and low mitotic activity but
recur.
Grade III: includes lesions with histologic evidence of malignancy, generally in the
form of mitotic activity
Grade IV: includes lesions that are mitotically active, necrosis-prone, and generally
associated with a rapid pre-operative and post-operative evolution of disease
Trx for tumors
treatment can consist of surgical resection,
conventional radiation, radiosurgery, and/or chemotherapy
