A) rupture of bridging veins between dura Mater and arachnoid
B) increased pressure on scalp causing blood accumulation between skin and periosteum
C) shearing injury to emissary veins between galeal aponeurosis and periosteum of skull
D) rupture of vessels between the periosteum and the bone.

D. Usually unilateral (doesn’t cross midline).
B is a caput succedaneum, C is subgaleal hemorrhage (babies get sick! Big potential space for blood loss). A is subdural bleed (seizure, AMS).
