- What age does the ductus arteriosus close?
- What age does Pulm vascular resistance fall to normal?
A
- 5-14 days—expect left sided obstructive processes (ie HLHS, CoA) to present with cardiogenic shock.
- 6-8 weeks—will cause a VSD to become more symptomatic due to increase blood flow (left to right)

What are the 3 criteria to diagnose pericarditis? How many do you need for diagnosis?
A
- Pericardial friction rub
- Pleuritic anterior chest pain
- Widespread ST elevation or PR depression on EKG
