What is a Court Cairn?
A court cairn is made from large upright stones covered with layers of earth and stones
They were circular in shape and had a big open area at the entrance to the tomb
What is a dolmen?
Dolmens look like huge stone tables.
They are made by putting two or three stones standing upright with a large capstone on top
What is a passage tomb?
Passage tombs are similar to court cairns except much larger.
From the outside they look like a hill.
