Simple negligence
A
Objective test found in sibilant and criminal law of weather the defendant has acted as a reasonable person would have. Usually covers road traffic offences.
The standard of a reasonable person dosent usually take into account the D’s characteristics.

Define negligence
A
Failure to exercise the skill care or foresight that a reasonable person in his situation would exercise to avoid a risk

Gross negligence
A
Offences imposing liability for negligence are not serious one but the exception is gross neg manslaughter
This is when someone’s conduct is so gross negligent that someone has died and manslaughter charge should be brought.
