- sensation to lateral forearm

strength: triceps, wrist flexors, finger extension

strength: finger flexors, thumb flexion/opposition
- sensation to medial forearm

strength: finger abduct & adduct
- sensation to medial arm
OA joint
- convex occipital condyles
- concave superior articular facets of the atlas
- forward & backbending
AA joint
- rotation
C2-7 motion
- F & E main motions
- coupled SB & R to the same side
- joints of Luschka (protect from posterolateral disc herniation, helps in gliding movements)
Trapezius
upper trap = pain along posterolateral neck
mid trap = pain toward vertebrae & to intrascapular
lower trap = neck, suprascap & infrascapular regions
Levator Scapula
pain to angle of neck & along vertebral border of scapula
scalene
anteriorly = pectoral region
laterally = down the front & back of the arm
posteriorly = upper vertebral border of scapula
SCM
sternal or clavicular divisions
- occiput
digastric
posterior = along upper parts of SCM
anterior = pain to lower 4 incisor teeth
splenius cervicis
upper = to orbit
lower = occiput & down to shoulder girdle & angle of neck
occipitalis
pain to back of head, through cranium to back of orbit
