Neck Flashcards

Q

What are the 2 layers of the SKIN and 2 layers of the FASCIA.

A

Skin: 1.epidermis (epithelium)

  • non-vascular
    2. dermis (dense connective tissue)
  • vascular/lymphatics/innervated

Fascia:

  1. superficial fascia
    - distributes vessels & nerves/allows skin mobility/insulation
  2. deep fascia
    - separates superficial from deep structures/strong & protective
