insertion of tympanoplasty tubes into the middle ear to promote drainage of purulent middle ear fluid, equalize pressure, keep air aerated
strabismus- s/s
eyes not aligned due to lack of coordination of extraocular muscles
-frequent HA
-squinting
-tilts head to see
-crossed eyes
-closing one eye to see
-diplopia
-photophobia
-loss of binocular vision
-impairment of depth perception
otitis media- position, inflammation
position on affected side –> drainage
irrigation not recommended –> increases inflammation
antihistamines NOT recommended
