What is a transmitters?
A
generates RF carriers that are modulated or combined with audio or data info. to produce an RF signal

What is simplex?
A
one way communication (receiver or transmitter only)

What is 1/2 duplex?
A
Communications both ways, but only one at a time, ie walkie talkie. (transceivers)

What is a full duplex?
A
Both way at any time. (transceivers)

What is receiving equipment?
A
receives a radio wave, then amplifies and demodulates it to extract the original transmission.
