Maxillary and External carotid:

  • sphenopalatine,
  • greater palatine

Facial and External carotid:

  • superior labial,
  • lateral nasal arteries

Opthalmic and Internal carotid:
-anterior and posterior ethmoidal arteries

Venous drainage of Nasal Cavity

A
  • Veins follow the arteries
  • Veins from maxillary artery drain into pterygoid plexus in the infratemporal fossa
  • Anterior veins joins facial vein that follow ethmoidal arteries to drain into cavernous sinus

A
  • Olfaction: olfactory nerve
  • General sensation: trigeminal (anterior: opthalmic, posterior: maxillary)
  • Anterior and posterior ethmoidal.
  • Branches of maxillary. Facial (PS).
  • Superior cervical sympathetic ganglion (S).
