Musculo-skeletal system
Your skeleton includes all the bones in the body, from the cranium (skull) to the bomes that make up your foort. attached to the skeleton is a system system of muscles
MAIN FUNCTION:
To create movement, provide posture, stability and protection
Cranium
Protects the brain
Ulna
Location: forearm bone on the inside when in the sleletal anatomical position
Tarsals
Location: ankle bones, forming the lower part of the foot
Radius
Location: forearm bone on the inside when in the sleletal anatomical position
Pelvis
Location: hip bones, composed of the ilium, ischium and pubis
Carpals
Location: wrist bones, forming the wrist joimt
Femur
Location: thigh bone the longest and strongest bone running from hip to knee
Humerus
Location: upper arm bone, between the shoulder and elbow
Scapula
Locatiom: shoulder blade, situated on the upper back
Patella
Location; knee cap, protecting the knee joint
Sternum
Location: brwatbone, in the center of the chest
Deltoid
Location: shoulders
Pectoralis major
Location: upper part of the chest
External obliques
Location: on the sides of your stomach area
