A

• Occurs when a muscle shortens against a fixed load while the tension on the muscle remains constant

Q

Dynamic

A

• Includes both concentric and eccentric

o Results in a change in length of a muscle with corresponding change in tension of a muscle

A

• Type of DC where the muscle fibres shorten and the tension of the muscle increases

A

• Occurs when both ends of the muscles are fixed and no change in length occurs during the contraction, but the tension increases
