Q

what is striated muscle and it’s funtion ?

A

striated muscles are highly organized tissues that convert chemical energy to physical work.
the primary funtion is to generate force in order to support posture(skeletal) and pump blood through the body(cardiac muscle).

Q

what are the five conditions of the spine?

A

scoliosis which means the spine has a sideways curve

Q

what are some of the special properties of muscle cells that help enable them to carry out their funtion?

A

irratibility or responsiveness is the ability to respond to stimulus
