Origin: Supraspinus fossa
Insertion: greater tubercle of the humerous
Action: abduction (assists deltoid)
Infraspinatus
Origin: Infraspinous fossa
Insertion: medial part of the greater tubercle
Action: laterally rotates arm
Teres Minor
Origin: superior lateral border of the scapula
Insertion: inferior facet of the greater tubercle
Action: lateral rotation
Subscapularis
Origin: subscapular fossa
Insertion: lesser tubercle of the humerus
Action: medial rotation, adduction
Biceps Brachii
Proximal Attachment
Short head: coracoid process
Long head: supraglenoid tubercle
Distal Attachment: tuberosity of the radius and fascia of the forearm (aponeurosis)
