Muscles Flashcards
Skeletal
produces movement of the skeleton, long thin cells, stripped under microoscope (actin and myosin)
organisation of the fibres (striated)
muscle fibres held together in small bundles called fasicles by connective tissue —– bundles keep getting held together with connective tissue until they form muscle
unit of contraction in muscle
sarcomere
energy for contraction
carbs, fat and proteins broken to get ATP
