Fast Method of learning multiplication tables to 9. 0 x something is always 0 (0 X 8 = 0), 1 times a number is always that number (1 X 6 = 6) and that multiplication is commutative ( 3 X 4 = 4 X 3), a single digit times 10 follows a pattern (7 X 10 =70), a single digit times 11 follows a pattern (7 X 11 is 77). Knowing the above means only need 50 multiplications.
