Private IP Addresses
An IP address configured manually. Servers have static IP addresses
Static IP Addresses
A gate through which data passes on its way to or from other networks
Default Gateway
Name-to-number (IP address) mapping and typically installed on the DC
Domain Name System (DNS)
Network management protocol and Dynamically assigns an IP address and other network configuration parameters
Dynamic Host Control Protocol (DHCP)
In this mode, a guest operating system on VM cannot access hosts in a physical LAN but can on the internet
NAT mode
In this mode, VMs are connected to an isolated virtual network. VMs can communicate with each other, but not with the host machine or any other host in a physical or external network.
Internal Mode
