First class, second class and third class lever

Tricep dip. Advantage; Stable and strong. Disadvantage; Slow and limited flexibility.
Identify a sporting example, advantage and disadvantage of a third class lever?
Bicep curl. Advantage; Fast and flexible. Disadvantage; Force applied must always be greater than the load.
Describe the sagittal plane?
The sagittal plane divides the body vertically into left and right sides.
Describe the transverse plane?
The transverse plane divides the body horizontally from front to back.
Describe the frontal plane?
The frontal plane divides the body vertically from front to back .
Describe the sagittal axis?
The sagittal axis passes horizontally through the body from front to back.
Describe the vertical axis?
The vertical axis passes vertically through the body from the head to toe.
Describe the frontal axis?
The frontal axis passes horizontally through the body from left to right.
What two joint movements can occur about the Frontal axis?
Flexion and Extension
What joint movement can occur about the vertical axis?
Rotation
What two joint movements can occur about the sagittal axis?
Abduction and Adduction
