-gather supplies on clean surface
-wash hands/ put gloves on
-ensure proper body alignment
-ask if client wants a clothing protector

Brushing teeth

-wet toothbrush and apply toothpaste
-stand to side of client
-brush teeth for two minutes and 30 seconds
-brush in sections upper and lower right and upper and lower left
-assist client rinse their mouth
-assist client spit into other cup
-repeat with other side
-wipe mouth
-remover protectors
