60 days under all policies. even if you have tpo policy it will cover you the min required in the country or max of your own policy which ever is greater

no, only if they travel outside of EU they will need green card

yes and for an unlimited amount but up to market value.
if you have a portable sat nav is it covered?
yes but only on tpft for up to £100 and comp up to £300. If the model of car does not have a sat nav as standard but it is added, this will be covered under comp with personal effects
When do you get a courtesy car?
If you have a COMP cover and your car is being repaired (so it’s under 60% damage) at one of the insurers approved repairers.

the full duration of the repairs
When is courtesy car not provided?
if it is not fixable, written off or has been stolen and not found.
What will the courtesy car be like if you qualify for it?
A small one is guaranteed for full duration of repairs. the repairer may be able to offer an alternative solution if the customer asks.
When are personal effects and belongings covered?
If they are damaged following a fire, theft or accident and you have a COMP policy. You are covered for up to £150.
What is covered by the personal effects feature in your policy?
Anything damaged or lost following a fire, theft or accident. Only through COMP and up to £150.
What is not covered by the personal effects feature in the policy?
Money, stamps, tickets or business equiptment and the cover does not apply to convertible cars or motor caravans. Sat Navs systems will also be covered but ONLY if the customer has taken reasonable measures to conceal the Sat Nav (e.g. not in clear sight when not using the car).
What does the medical expenses feature cover? And what policy is it a feature of?
Privately done treatment up to £200 e.g. physiotherapy or dental work. COMP

If the customer is treated by the NHS (no charge). COMP
What does the personal accident & road rage feature cover? And what policy is it a feature of?
If the customer, spouse/civil partner suffer loss of sight, loss of limb or death. Also if there is injury as a result of a criminal assault following an incident involving the vehicle. Up to £5000 per person for anyone under 80. COMP

No-one above 80 years old or any third party who suffers loss of sight, limb or death as a result of an accident. COMP
What does the new car replacement feature cover? And what policy is it a feature of?
The insurance company will replace the car with a brand new one if it is either stolen and not found or damaged and not worth repairing. COMP
When is a car not worth repairing?
When the cost of repairs is more than 60% of its value.
When will the customer get a new car replacement?
If they have a COMP policy, the car is less than 12 months old, the customer is the first registered keeper on the registration document, the car is stolen and not found or beyond repair.
What does the DOC feature cover? And what policy is it a feature of?
- The driving other cars extension provides TPO cover to the policy holder when they drive a car that does not belong to them.
- Need to have the owners permission and the other car needs to have valid insurance policy.
- This is an extension available for all policies: TPO, TPFT, COMP

- It does not cover anyone else but the policy holder! Not even the main driver/named drivers.
- Or if the customer no longer has the insured vehicle.
- Or if it has been damaged beyond economical repair
- Or if it has been stolen and not recovered.

- If the key, lock transmitter or entry card is lost or stolen.
- Up to £500 with COMP policy
- Will replace

- Also pay reasonable cost involved in protecting the vehicle, moving it to the nearest repairer and delivering it back to the customer’s address
