What motivates you to perform well in a job like this?
I am motivated by the satisfaction of knowing I have made someone’s day easier or more enjoyable. Seeing customers leave with a smile on their face gives me a sense of pride and motivation in my work.
What strengths would you bring to the cabin crew job?
I have strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to remain calm under pressure. My experience in customer-facing roles has developed my ability to empathise with customers and ensure their needs are met.
How do you handle constructive criticism?
I view constructive criticism as an opportunity to improve. Constructive criticism allows me to improve the way I work, develop my skills, and provide better service.
What do you find to be the most rewarding part of customer service?
To me, the most rewarding part of customer service is having a positive impact on someone’s day. Whether it is solving a problem or providing excellent service, it is rewarding to see customers leave happy.
What would you do to maintain a positive attitude on long or challenging flights?
I would stay focused on my end goal of delivering excellent customer service. In the past I have taken short breaks and stayed hydrated, remembering my attitude impacts the customer’s experience.
