Q

What is Newton’s first law? What does it do + example

A

Law of Ineitia.
Everything will remain doing what it is doing unless an external force acts on it.

Example: in the car, you go the same speed as the car. When the car suddenly stops, you move forward

16
Q

What is newtons 2nd law? What does it do + example

A

F=ma

The velocity of an object changes when it is subjected to an external force.

Example: pushing a trolley

17
Q

What is newtons 3rd law? What does it do +example

A

For every action there is an opposite and equal reaction.

Example: Swimming, you push the water back and it pushes you forward

18
Q

V (speed) =

A

V= d/t

Speed = distance/time

19
Q

D (distance) =

A

D= vxt

Distance = speed x time

20
Q

T (time) =

A

T= d/v

Time= distance/speed

21
Q

What is speed?

A

Speed is a measure of the time rate at which an object moves over a distance

22
Q

Define reaction time

A

The length of time taken for a person or system to respond to a given event

23
Q

Define reaction distance

A

Reaction distance is how far your car travels in the time it takes the driver to react to a hazard
