Serotonin syndrome
Symptom Triad: hyperreflexia, neuromuscular disorders (tremor, muscle rigidity), mental disorders
Unlike NMS, serotonin syndrome is characterized by hyperreflexia and mydriasis (NMS is characterized by hyporeflexia and unchanged pupil)
mild serotonin syndrome -
benzodiazepines
Moderate to severe serotonin syndrome with hyperthermia - cyproheptadine
Hypnotic / sedative overdose
Patients do not respond, miosis, respiratory and cardiovascular depression
Flumazenil (in case of BZD or BZD analogues overdose)
NO antidote to barbiturate overdose
