A

. Was essentially when Rosa Parks, an African American seamstress refused to giver her seat on a bus to a white individual.
. Her subsequent arrest led to local Black ministers announcing a boycott of the bus service on December 4th, which was then carried out the following day.
. This was the first major event in which Martin Luther King and the NAACP became involved in, his further campaigning led to the a major decision being made in the local federal court.
