The monomers from which larger carbohydrates can be formed. (THEY ARE SINGLE MOLECULES).

How are polysaccharides and disaccharides formed?
A
2 hydroxyl groups interact to form a GLYCOSIDIC BOND. 1 water molecule is always eliminated.
