How can you find water in the dessert?
Dig in and around the edges of dried out rivers and lakes - be mindful that digging to deep will produce salty water

Osmosis pump

30 mins

What are the hazards of desert survival?
- Insects/animals/poisonous plants etc.
- Climate = hot
What are some considerations for jungle survival?
- Cover self completely to avoid insect bites
- Drink rain water but if you only have rivers/streams boil for 20 mins
- Check clothes/feet before putting on for insects/animals
