What is Big Data?
- Is the storage, maintenance and use of a very large amount of electronic data, often from multiple sources - so much data that a special database and/or special software must be used to store, maintain and use the data. (softwarem hardware, methodology etc.)
- It can also refer to the business or technology impact of having access to, or responsibility for, such collections of data.
What is raw material?
Physical things that haven’t been processed, combined, etc. Ex: materias to do a book.
What is raw data?
Data that hasn’t been handled by the computer yet for some purpose.
What is BI?
Short for Business intelligence. BI is the capture and presentation of data in various meaningful forms for useful business purposes.
What is iteration?
Iterate means to say or do something again - to repeat. It means to go through a defined series of actions, repeating them a certain number of times.
What is a pixel?
The smallest single component of a digital image.
What is Megapixel?
A unit of measurement equal to 1,000,000 pixels.

What is Resolution?
Number of pixels over area. How accurate the image is.
What buffering means?
To preload data to an area where it is stored for later use.
What is a clip?
A cut of a scene or video.
What is the difference between upload and file transfer?
In the upload the file goes up from the client to the server who is higher in the hierarchy.
What is a Trojan malware?
A malware that is disguised as something harmless.
What is a worm malware?
A malware that replicate itself from computer to computer unnoticed and without human interaction.
What is a card?
A hardware that you can attach to the motherboard to add functionality to the computer.
What is usb?
Universal Serial Bus. It’s a standard physical port on the computer that can be used to send and receive information.
What is usb drive?
A storage drive that connects to the computer by the usb port.
What serial means in the usb?
That the data travels in only one lane.
How parallel contrasts serial?
In a parallel setup, the data travel in more than one lane at the same time.
What is a usb card?
A card that adds usb ports to the computer.
What log out means?
To disconnect from a system, computer, or program.
