What is Camcevi?
Camcevi is an androgen deprivation therapy used for the treatment of adult patients with advanced prostate cancer.
What is the recommended dose for Camcevi?
42mg subcutaneously every 6 months.
What are the main side effects from using Camcevi?
Hot flash, high blood pressure and temporary burning/stinging, pain, bruising, or redness.
Where should Camcevi be injected?
Upper, or mid abdomen
Where should Camcevi not be injected?
Do not inject in areas with brawny, or fibrous subcutaeous tissue, or locations that can be rubbed, or compressed.
How should Camcevi be stored?
At 36-46 degrees Fahrenheit, out of light.
What is Lutrate?
A Leuprolide Acetate utilizing a mixjet system.
What is the recommended dose for Lutrate?
A 2mL injection
What are the main side effects of Lutrate?
Hot flushing, upper respiratory infection and fatigue.
Where should Lutrate be injected?
IM into the gluteal area, anterior thigh, or deltoid.
How should Lutrate be stored?
at controlled room temperature.
What is the indication for Orgovyx?
For the treatment of adult patients with advanced prostate cancer.
What is the initial dose for Orgovyx?
Loading dose of 360mg
What time of day should Orgovyx be dosed?
At the same time every day
What happens if the patient’s treatment with Orgovyx is interrupted for more than 7 days?
They must restart with a loading dose of 360 mg, followed by a maintenance dose of 120mg.
Orgovyx interacts with which drugs?
P-gp inhibitors
