A belief that classrooms in which students are active learners, decision makers, and problem solvers are more natural and effective than those in which students are passive recipients of information

Frameworks designed to support students’ academic behavioral, social, and emotional needs
Tier 1
Include targeted support in the full class setting
Tier 2
Small group Interventions that are added on if tier one did not create noticeable gains
Tier 3
1:1 intensive, daily intervention for students.
Positive Behavioral Interventions
Promotes school safety and good behavior
